My Jefferson comparison... a taller Chris Leak

I've heard the Campbell comparison thrown out on this board. But watching the Cap One Bowl now, I see a release and mobility similar to Leak at UF.

I am just hoping he's not the next Aaron Brooks, shows flashes of brilliance mixed in with a lot of mediocrity.

Chris leak was accurate and threw a beautiful ball.. Horrible comparison to JJ in my opinion.. Ive always thought JJ reminded me of Aaron Brooks.. Jamrcus doesnt remind me of AB at all either.. They way JJ looks after he does something wrong or in post game press conferences he talks about his throwing percentages being good and int to td ratio being good.. Ridiculous

nah, I think in the case of Leak, it's just a bad comparison. about the only thing they have in common is being black SEC QBs.

many Florida fans gave Leak a rough time during his tenure in Gainesville, especially his first 2 years in 2003 and 2004 under Zook (even though he showed flashes, including defeating eventual national champ LSU in TS as a true freshman). He struggled early in 2005, but led them to a NYD bowl win and 9-3 record (including wins over the 3 rivals UT, UGA, and FSU). Then senior year, he won the national title.
