7pm on a Tuesday and against Brazil; we'll find out who truly despises watching soccer in this country.

Im also curious to see what the ratings are when they come out, specifically how bad it compares to an NFL game.

Of course it's not going to compare to Monday night football, but I bet it scores as high as an ESPN airing of Sunday night baseball.

A meaningless soccer game is not going to come close to a regular season NFL game. A better comparison would be comparing it to an NFL pre season exhibition, it's essentially the exact same thing.

I'm wondering if web broadcasts are figured into the viewership ratings. For a lot of weeknight games, I know quite a few people who would be more apt to watch ESPN3 on a computer than in front of a TV.

ESPN did a really bad job of promoting this. The ratings won't be that great simply because some people don't know about it.
