Puerto Rican National Team goalkeeper Allesandro Salvatore seals Capitals semi-final victory
The Southern Conference Championship title beckons for Baton Rouge CULT Capitals as they made it through to Sunday’s final after an immense performance earned them a deserved victory over Laredo Heat, in Jackson MS, Friday.
And the hero of the evening was goalkeeper Alessandro Salvatore, who pulled off a spectacular save to deny Laredo the spoils in an exciting penalty shoot-out after the teams had tied 1-1 after extra time in an enthralling game played in searing temperatures.

The next game is the Southern Conference Final on Sunday 1st August at Millsaps College, Jackson MS., against Houston Leones.

If the cllub wins the Conference they go forward to the National Semi-final next weekend. Details of venue etc to be announced.
