PDL FINAL FOUR: B.R.Capitals "In it to win it..."
Posted by stephenwordsmith on 8/4/10 at 11:26 am
Baton Rouge CULT Capitals head to Portland Oregon this week as one of the “final four” teams vying for the coveted title of National Champions – and are going all-out to bring the trophy back to Baton Rouge.
“We have to win two games, it’s as simple as that,” said coach Stuart Hayers, who has already guided his newly-assembled team to the Southern Conference title in his rookie year as a coach. “We are in top four in the country now and we are in the finals to win, make no mistake.”

Both semi-finals and the consolation match will be streamed live at www.usllive.com; while the final will be televised live nationwide on Fox Soccer Channel. Full details of kick-off times and venue are available at https://pdl.uslsoccer.com/home/452284.html

May I express my congratulations to your friend and his officiating colleagues on the high standard of refereeing for this most improtant match.
Apart from one or two obvious errors (and refs really ARE human, you know) they all worked as an excellent officiating team. My personal thanks to all.

Not exactly sure but, in referee's parlance, it might be called "dangerous play". There was some confusion about this as initially he received a yellow from the referee, who then consulted his AR and the red card was pulled.
An intense and exciting match from the two erstwhile unbeaten opponents. (I am just writing the match report now.)
