I saw earlier in the summer theTenn game was a 2:30 on CBS followed by the Fla/Ala game. Did that change?

Pretty easy...
1. Check the schedule in the above link.
2. For Games already picked up by a network, the time slot is official, barring some unforseen circumstance.
3. Games currently not picked up are tentatively scheduled for 7:00pm until the networks way in.
Next question is when will all the networks way in... Answer: give it time my friend.

Agree. Who do you think gets CBS's annual night game?
Posted on 7/29/10 at 3:45 pm to LSUgrad07Dynasty
Good question. I'd have to look at the schedules to really know the answer. I think CBS has lost the lust, for the meantime, with us and UF. It could very well return. Bama and us could also have it because of Saban and the awful officating last year. I think they'll make us and Bama a 4 pm game, though ala 2007.
Something POSSIBLY tells me that Bama and UT could get it depending. It's usually a great game. It'll be Bama against someone...that's my prediction.

If Bama and UF are playing, which I admit I did not know, then there it is, undoubtedly.

Bama/Florida on October 2nd will be the only CBS primetime game this season.
Posted on 7/29/10 at 3:50 pm to LSU
Agreed. That's definitely going to be the most watched game of the season and CBS's highest ratings ever...it'll be bigger than our '07 game with the Gators. I cannot believe I was unsure if they played or not, but west vs. east rotation mathematics has been tougher since they dropped the 2 traditional eastern rivals to one.

Auburn and Florida will most likely be night games too
Posted on 7/29/10 at 3:58 pm to PiscesTiger
No worries. It'd slipped pass me as well. CBS could reuse the whole "The winner of this game has produced the national champion the past 2 years" theme. However, the missing Tebow element will be a stretch for Vern... Referring to Brantley as Tebow's successor might carry him through all 4 quarters.

Auburn probably will, but I expect Florida to be the CBS game at 2:30.

Naah. CBS has taken it every year since 2005. Bama vs. Auburn hasn't even done that, nor have we against Bama and Auburn. Tebow's absence takes some lust away, but that game will still be a huge draw due to the width of LA to the tip of FLA and all of the football lovers who will tune in. CBS will likley take dibs on that game for a long time, much like they now do with Bama and UT.
