They want to come to the "heart of SEC country". Does Tiger Band ever ask for donations to make trips to away games? Wasn't it last year that they did no full band trips? Maybe this is an idea for them to fund some trips.

pretty sure they found the money when word got around they initially werent going.

Id rather seethem make a big sec road trip as a whole than to a place like seattle wash.

Did they actually set up a fund or was it a grass roots thing from tiger fans? I'm just asking....I don't know. This looks like a formal fundraising campaign. Sounds like a great idea to me. Set up the fund for people to donate to help cover expenses.

I was disappointed when the LSU band didn't come up for the Bama game last year.

I respectfully disagree. They may have other opportunites to go to other SEC venues but the chances of another trip to WA are slim. It was probably a very memorable trip for most of them.

you miss the point.
I dont really care about the band members feelings.
Far as what it means to the team and fans, sec road games are much bigger and important than an ooc game 2k miles away.

We just cut hotel stays for some of the trips. For the Bama game, they left at like 5 in the morning, got to the stadium, then drove back. Ole Miss they came back right after the game.

Only full band trip is to Atlanta for the UNC game

This is off subject slightly but Tiger band seems to be short of members lately? Wish the band could increase in size and volume. Some band member can come and say that the band is as large as ever but doesnt look or seem so to me. If its funding lets raise money for that instead of going on trips.

Last year our band made the trip down to Auburn but didn't get to perform because of the monsoon that came thru Auburn right before kickoff.

Why is this? Other SEC schools send their full bands to multiple road games.

again the word around tiger band...not offical in any way...was that we were supposed to be full band to auburn and a 50 person pep band to vandy but they changed it to 110 for each. however tiger band is playing at the saints game oct 3....i assume the band is getting paid to do that though

Yeah frick the band nerds, who gives a shite about them. If I turn a blind eye to you hazing each other, I'll also turn a blind eye to what you care about.

You mainly serve to be a badass musical group. Individually though, you suck.
