The rig I'm currently got a permit 3 weeks ago and we're already getting ready to run 9-5/8" casing.

Picking up a different rig Thurs. The rig is currently in Main Pass, we have to tow around the backside of the spill to get the rig over to Eugene Island.

I Wasn't aware of that one. It's funny how the media made a huge deal out of new wells being permitted, but haven't said anything about them actually spudding.

That's where we're picking up the rig Thursday to tow it to Eugene Island but we're picking up the rig once it gets under tow so I don't know what block it's in right now. It's ENSCO 75.

My rig is spudding a new well today in west cam. I will go out Thursday, so will be there for a lot of the drilling. We had to wait over a month for them to reissue the permit. Had to send BOP's to be inspected and have the accumulator and remote stations instected.

this has nothing to do with the moratorium if that's what you were getting at.

If not.

If I'm not mistaken, that's the rig that got their permit only to have it yanked a day or so later once the media found out and reported it.

Barry & Co. Didn't issue any permits from April 20th until June 29th.

There was clearly a silent moratorium going on for shallow water that was killing everyone.

Have any permits for new drills in shallow water (not sidetracks) been issued lately? I know of only one permitted since the moratorium.
