We all need a break here. Lets hope the new cap works well and stops this on Monday. Also, I read the relief wells are ahead of schedule. Anyone got any first hand news on this?

The coast guard says they are ahead and will hit the spot in 7-10 days. They and BP are still saying mid August before it all can be completed.
I am guessing they are indeed ahead of schedule, but there is no way BP is going to say something like that and end up getting crucified if something happens to slow them down. This last step is the most critical.

Helix Produce (20-25k)should come online Sunday. Enterprise (15-18K)however will go offline as the containment cap is replaced.
Once everything is back online in about 10 days I believe virtually all of the oil should be captured save maybe a few minor leaks.
Relief wells are ahead of schedule. It is not know what exactly needs to be done to kill the well. That depends on the state of the well bore and where the oil is flowing. Kill could be completed well ahead of schedule or not depending on what is found.
