Since we have now lost Garrett, can someone give a fair assessment of Bailey, his HS success, play style and strengths.

I know this is asking a lot from the Rant but it is a legitimate question!!

Think of Andrew Hatch, just not nearly as good.

I graduated 120th in my senior class, so I still consider this admirable.

I would like to know his style of play and perceived strengths and weaknesses as well. I never saw him play football and I do not know what kind of competition he faced at University. I recall that he was a pretty good track athlete. At the LSU Tiger Relays, he ran a 11.65 in the 100m (Bradley Sylve ran a 10.79 in the same race) and had a 20-06 long jump.

if nothing else, he's pretty fast, (ran the shuttle drills tops out of all of our qb's) with a 4.65..at least he's athletic

He is excellent at running the option to the short side of the field.

He would have been a much higher rated qb with more weapons in high school then he had at University. He has a lot of talent.

We're a much better evaluator of talent than the coaching staff at the 118 other D1 schools that didn't offer him a scholarship. Especially when the kid is from Baton Rouge.
