Fleur De Lis must not answer phones for call-aheads

Even though they state clearly on their website that they take call-ins and also have a voicemail that says, "I am open Tues through Saturday. I stop taking phone orders at 9:30." I?
Ok...are they taking an early July 4th or something?
Their pizza is pretty decent, but I gotta admit, they need to improve their social skills. They have rude servers and still feel pompous enough to not accept checks and credit cards. And what is this "I" shite? Who is the owner?

They usually close for weekends like this. Doubt they are open or they would be picking up the phone.

I will keep going...but seriously, they need to teach their workers how to use good manners. I have yet to leave a 20 percent tip in that joint. And I tip 20 as long as you're polite.

Come on, Liz. It adds to the flavor.
Glad it's not just me. I won't complain about too many restaurants, but they are just lacking the friendly part of what makes everything about a dine-in pizza joint a pleasurable experience. PastTime's seems much more grateful for business and they do not act like it's 1946 and cash is the only medium for exchange of goods and services.

They've been closed all week for family vacation. Happens a few times each year. Plan on it around Christmas.

People are too sensitive over here. Get over it. The service is fine. They take care of you, who cares if they don't act like they live to serve people. I get pissed when I go somewhere and I get a waiter that acts like the fricking flair guy on Office Space. It's the best pizza in BR, period. Nothing has changed about that place since I've been going and that's a long time and a good thing.

I sort of enjoy being a dick, especially on the food board because it is full of a bunch of people that have and expectation and standard of restaurants that nobody and no place could ever fulfill. I travel for good food, and I've been to a lot of places. But this board is nothing but a bunch of complainers. Hell, the poli board doesn't have this much whining. I am all for some criticism of places, but what is the focus of everyone's trip to a restaurant? I went to Commander's recently and the espresso wasn't that good. Maybe I should start a thread about it. Or my water cup made it below the halfway mark and I simply can't drink water that has below a 50% threshold in the cup, it tastes less "watery", you know?

Well I can't say that I wouldn't be interested in seeing what the girls on TD look like but I'm unwilling to be the creepy dudes on the OT lounge that are friends with the internet people, that's just weird. Not to say I don't know people on TD, but I don't know them due to TD. That's a whole different ballgame.
