Just wanted to let anyone who is interested know that two C-17's will be flying over Tiger Stadium tommorrow (Thursday July 1) at 3:13PM +/- 15 mins. My brother will be piloting the lead jet and is flying over LSU on his "final flight". He's a C-17 instructor at Altus AFB in Altus, OK and will be leaving that post next month. They will be taking a tour of the southeast tomorrow flying over GT (my brother's alma mater), UGA, Alabama and LSU...these are the universities of the crew members on board the two planes.

They will be approaching from the southeast turning to the north about two miles out flying south to north over the stadium and then adjacent to downtown over the new bridge. Go check it out if you're interested...the C-17 is a big SOB! Geaux USA and Geaux Tigers!!

I'm an LSU fan but live in Tuscaloosa, any idea on the time for Bryant Denny?

I'll tell him you all say thanks. He's been deployed a few times, but he's definitely the type of guy you want serving our country.

Just an FYI...estimated cost in fuel is $75,000 per jet!! Your tax dollars at work.

I have a air force reserve base about 5 miles from my house and there are a few c17s stationed here. They constantly do flyovers of my house in the afternoons, very cool to see.

Fantastic!!! Thanks for the info. I severed four years in the Air Force back in the late 80's before the C17, what a sweet bird. Tell your brother THANKS for all he and our armed forces do for us. God Bless America and Geaux Tigers!!!!!
