The Twilight Saga: Eclipse ripped into the record books with its midnight launch, grossing over $30 million at more than 4,000 theaters. That surpassed The Twilight Saga: New Moon's previous benchmark of $26.3 million. Included in Eclipse's sum was a new IMAX midnight milestone of over $1 million at 192 venues, topping Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen's $959,000.
Additionally, the first Twilight and New Moon were re-issued as a one-off, pre-Eclipse double-feature Thursday night at 2,037 theaters and made $2.4 million. Previously, Twilight took in $1.3 million in its re-issue the night before New Moon's opening.

A lot of 12 year old girls with shitty parents out there.

I just keep thinking to myself, two more films and this shite will finally be over with. I really can't go anywhere without seeing these characters everywhere. No lie I asked the people at Burger King if they could put my meal in any other bag they had back there becuase I didn't have to balls to walk into work with some stupid Edward/Jacob bag.

I'm your huckleberry. I'd whip you like your boy Reggie Miller would get whipped by his sister.

They even have Twilight Barbie-type dolls. I was buying a toy for a birthday party my daughter was invited to and saw one. I was thinking, what 7-year old girl would want a sickly-looking pale guy doll.

Sounds like you're missing your balls then... Seriously you're that worried about twilight burger king bags??

Twilight is an example of parents not monitoring what their children are doing. Bella's character is such a self destructive person that has self esteem issues and gets herself in harmful relationships. Yet teenage girls are making this shite popular.

Harry Potter will break this record, imo.

Except for the fact that the bag the fast food place gives you isn't a choice you make. If you seriously requested a different bag, you're the most insecure person walking the earth.

I'm so glad I'm not a stupid teenage girl or a homosexual

The Dark Knight started all of this crap of going for more than the barebones theaters for big new releases
The sequel will blow this record out of the water
