Try LA Boilers on Perkins...$19/dozen. They were pretty good this weekend.

That really is a cheap price since I paid $40/5 dozen live. And LA BOilers was buying a truck load of live crawfish from the same place I bought my crabs. By the time you factor in the other costs of the boil you are damn near at that price to do them yourself.

sammy's also has them. I believe they are selects. They are around $1.50 per crab.

They sell them by the dozen or by the bushel. I can eat a dozen easily, but the problem is I'm not full but tired of picking and cracking.

Got some boiled medium crabs at Off the Hook that were really tasty. Think they even have some all you can eat crab specials going on in the evenings also. Haven't found any number one's yet. All the local seafood places say they are too expensive right now.

I buy the mediums more than the larger selects because they tend to be more full most of the time.

I also used to buy them next to Middendorfs by the bushel for cheap.

Sammy's has them and they are 2.75 per crab. Just had some a week ago. Not to bad if you only want a half dozen or so.
