Hiddink is obviously a great coach, and I am surprised how Turkey got him. I guess they were willing to pay him whatever he wanted and gave him all creative control. That's surprising because the TFF loves to meddle with coaches and they have generally gone with Turkish guys that are either very famous or that they can easily manipulate.
I guess missing out on even the playoffs this time around made them abandon their usual incompetence.
I don't see the USSF giving complete freedom to a new coach, and if we lose Bob to club football, I definitely don't want to see fricking Preki.

He is a coach that needs freedom. Turkey has a lot of talent and I hope they qualify for the 2012 Euros. If they do, they will do well. If Greee can win they can as well.
