European teams + non-European World Cup = struggles.

Is that the trend?

Hopefully the US can step up then.

A European team has never won a World Cup on non-Euro soil.

FIFA must hate that. I can't believe they ever let the World Cup leave Europe.

Spain has only played one game so far, which they should have won. So I wouldn't throw them in there just yet.

Spain didn't play nearly as bad as England, France or Italy. But I agree that they need to start putting the ball in the back of the net

They were just unlucky, they'll be in the knockout stage. Just hope they don't get Brazil or Portugal

I'm liking the Euro teams struggling. Except maybe Spain. I'd like to see Brasil, Spain, USA, and an African team all advance far. But Africa's a long shot. Ghana's probably their best.

I'm betting the teams will play better once the group stage is over with and they are in the knockout rounds.

Idk, that would be a pretty big game considering they're both neighbors. I have both in my Finals but that's because I have Brazil and Spain first knockout game.

MM, smart avatar, the guy we missed against Shizenland.

Tommorrow, should be a coupe d'effect. If not, well, we are talking about the biggest dissappointment, sans par.

Not many other options there.

POrtugal, no problem. Brasil, as they have been playing until now, likewise. I think Brasil steps it up come next round.

As I said earlier, this cup "smells" like Argentina or Germany.

Does it hurt you to say that?

Spain should run deep, but I see them suffering a travesty of justice.

Karma for a Spanish ref screwing over Germany against Serbia.

Always a first, this cup smacks of firsts.
