That is easily one of the dumbest and most unscientific things I have ever seen.

I agree. They gave no number associated with the height of the barrels and I think they tried to make you think it would be as high as Mt. Everest or any other mountain that is snow capped.
If there were 5 barrels per side that would result in 25 barrels in the cube and a barrel is about three feet high so that would suggest that the tower they had build would be about 3000ft in the air, not as high as a snow capped mountain in the clouds.
I thought that was ridiculous.

If you look closely the barrels are stacked as a perimeter around a solid column (which remains intact after the demolition). In that arrangement it's 20 barrels per "slice". Pretty high but not enormous.
