think I should stop doing lists because I am hoping others would give me their entire top 5 at each position instead of "No Billy Cannon? No Jim Taylor? God I am a fricking idiot." Don't act like you don't have the time. So, as usual, not one person entertains with a similar catalogue (not including the people who at least broke it down and agreed or disagreed).

I would take Kevin Faulk ahead of CC

Had Cecil not broken his fibula, Kevin was about to see a lot more pine/standing by the coach then he'd ever seen. Anyone who thinks Cecil, even in a 4 game span, wasn't more impressive than Faulk is...um...wow.

And wow, Browndyke NOT being #1 is going against the grain big time.

Having him over Colt David, the all-time scorer, is aginst the grain.

For the record, I didn't make my own lists because I fundamentally agreed with yours. It was a really good list. My only real gripe is with the running backs. Kevin Faulk is #1 and I wouldn't rank Collins at all.

And don't pretend you didn't like my LeBlanc suggestion.

I would swap Bowe & Clayton there because MC was a better all-around WR even though he didn't have DB's stats.

I think Bowe was the better receiver. M. Clayton would probably have been converted to a safety if he would have come in with the same class as Bowe, B. Davis and Early Doucet. IMO & IMHO Still a great receiver and one of my favorite Tigers.

Gillyard was an end and ended up teaching SPED in Hammond. He's not in my top 10.

FWIW, I hated it. He's just not in that group.

I wasn't pointing you out...at least you made a decent attempt. I debated three of your points. I'm basically ignoring the "No Bert Jones!?" idiots b/c they aren't even smarter than a 5th grader.

Well the list is useless if Dalton Hilliard is not on it. One of the most loved tigers of all time.
From Wiki

Hilliard played college football at Louisiana State University (1982-1985). He is 5th all time in rushing touchdowns in SEC history with 44. I bolded 1985 because 2010-1985= 25 years

5th all time in SEC rushing TDs come on man! LINK

fricking idiot. As if I don't know who the hell Dalton Hilliard is. He played one year of the 25.

I realize you're right on the math, but you're an idiot for assuming that I do not have enough sense to even consider him. Look at all the other players I named. And then you wiki the fricking thing?

It just amuses me that you think someone can be so dumb.

Jones should be ahead of Kessler. Remember that Kessler's avg. was grossly inflated due to having Witten pooch punt.

Cause you are wrong not to put him up there and specifically say last 25 years which he played in. Please just stop being a Tool, i agreed with your list, but it should have D Hilliard on it that is my point unless you change it to the last 24 years!!
If any of those players are higher than 5th in Rushing SEC TDs they should be there but if they aren't. Never post a best of thread without expecting how wrong you were, it is a recipe for flaming and calling people F@!#*&$ Idiots which i take offense to and a mod should ban u for life!

YOU FAILED AT PICKING THOSE RBS

So you'll include Cecil after 4 games but not Hillard with 1 year? Most of these posts have been retarded I agree but that wasn't that bad.

I like your list though. I'd still put Faulk as the top back. Cecil was a freak and I see why you placed him at #1 but 4 games is still 4 games.

I'd also have JR at the top of the QB list strictly for what he did at LSU. People talking about how you "couldn't go to war with JR" is just stupid.

Look get a life, be sure you get to 30k post(every has to have a goal), and keep on thinking DH shouldn't be on that list. It is people like you that ruin MBs!

I never was an arse i just stated my opinion because you started this opinion based post and you bash me like i am a Tard! You need to GTFO of your own thread! Do you really feel D Hilliard was not better than any of those RBs!

Look at this list and tell me where or what year C Collins is because i cannot find him???????????????????????

Also notice that D Hilliard led the team in rushing 4 years in a row. Anyone who does this should be on a who is the best in the last whogivesacrapyears thread!!

I'm pretty sure Rohan still holds all kinds of season records for LSU.

like what?

maybe yards and attempts, only because he threw it more than the others.

Matt Mauck set the TD record in 2003 that Russell either beat or tied. Russell has completions and completion % season records and was 25-4 as a starter

Jamarcus Russell is the clear cut #1.
