Can South Africa pull out a victory on Youth Day?

I hope not. I'm hoping Uruguay and France stomp SA now. I was pulling for them at first, but my hopes are that a group stage flameout will kill the spirit of the locals, and in turn, quell the vuvuzela.

It's cute that you guys think the vuvuzelas are just from the locals...if anything, the bulk of the noise is coming from the tourists.

Don't ever and I mean ever discount FIFA's roll in determining who makes the knockout stages. Considering the African sides lack of performance, don't be surprised to see an undesreved penalty at a crucial time.

Sadly, I think this is the case. Stupid tourists came and decided they would be "cultural."

Kill the source, stop the noise. The tourists will be too wrapped up in their team's cup hopes to miss part of the game because they passed out from 10 straight minutes of blowing one of those things.

I want Tshbalala to do something crazy again, just so Martin Tyler can say his name multiple times.

If Uruguay keeps playing defense like this, i think they have a great chance to advance

You got to score to win. They played a shell against France the entire 90.

Not a single Afrikaaner on the entire South African squad.
frickin racists.
How good could they be if their best athletes played soccer?
