So TxA&M had a chance to go to SEC and still dropped the ball?

WOW! LMAO...An SEC invite doesn't come around alot. And they let Texas tell them what to do and how it's going to be run in their conference!

How did they drop the ball? I thought they were still considering the offer?

Naw, it's over. The A&M meeting is over. They're staying in the Big12.

You're totally mistaken. On Finebaum last week, Gene Stallings said their wish was to keep the Big 12 intact.

The only way they were considering going to the SEC is if the Pac 10 imploded.

The Big 12 is intact, TAMU is going from 7 mil/year to around 17 mil/year.

TAMU got exactly what they wanted the whole time.

You're right, the university did. Feel bad for their fans though; this decision seems to have crushed many of them. A&M to the SEC went from done deal to pipe dream in a matter of hours.

The SEC leveraged A&M against TX. Brilliant brilliant politics.

still an SEC invite doesn't come around often, and when the lil 12 collapses in the next few yrs it may not be around.

Ok maybe I'm behind, but where is the Big 2+8 formally known as the Big 12 getting this huge increase in revenue?

Also, Aggies just assured themselves to stay 2nd fiddle to Texas from here on out. Texas now gets its own network. Wow they came out better than they would have going to the Pac 10.

Aggies failed at taking Texas down a notch and actually boosted them up a little. They did not gain any ground on them.
