I'm hoping for his sake he's right this time, eesh this morning's report was turrible.
If one more team leaves the Big 12 I just don't know how it can survive, plus gotta think one more team leaving would give Texas A&M enough reason to leave...

I sure hope so. It does seem odd that they would announce a meeting if all they are going to do is stick with the Big XII. Could they be meeting just to officially accept the Big XII plan?

That's true - why schedule a meeting if it's simply to stay? Well, maybe Boone came in and said we are not taking a deal that nets us less than OU - screw that - let's roll out.

Maybe he's taking the lead of the FedEx guy and saying that he's willing to pay more than $10 million a year to get Okie State into a better conference.
