I played a couple of games last night, all on All American.
I did the Ask Coach feature and I had plenty of plays to choose from. Don't know about the Formation picks. In the demo, you can already do formation subs and change the depth chart. Formation subs is back (not news but I'm still pumped)!!!
Played a game with tOSU. Pryor was horrible passing for the most part, although the way I used him didn't help. I was running around and throwing desperation passes many times. What I liked is some of those passes were way off target - overthrown, too far to the right. Same thing for the opposing QB.
Played another game with Texas. 1st offensive play for Oklahoma I blow a coverage and they get a 70+ yard TD. Modest return, then I get a 70+ Yd TD. Shut them down the rest of the game and jumped up 21-7.
I didn't want the game to end, so I let them score and got it back to 21-21 in Q4. Then they go up 28-21 with 45 seconds left. I score with 10 seconds left to tie it up, then intercept a pass as time's up (love the INT returns - feels a little more like a real athlete with some of the players). Off to OT.
I win the toss and choose Defense. First play, OK throws a quick out that my CB intercepts. As he takes off, the WR strips him of the ball and OK has the ball back. But the next play is Texas lining up for 1st down, so I complete 3 quick passes, the last for the winning TD.
Still a lot of big plays in the game, but I'm much more gung ho in the demo than in a real game. I rarely ran the ball. Got some big TDs, but threw a lot of bad passes that fell incomplete - in years past this would have been a pass on target or thrown right to a defender. Now it falls harmlessly to the ground.
WR screens were done much better - excited to run these with Shepard and some other LSU WRs. Presentation much better. I'm excited by the "120 Ways to Win" aspect - if they pull this off I'll be playing this for the next year.
