might be joining the SEC. Are they gonna chant SEC SEC SEC like the rest of the conference does. It seems to me last year in the Indy bowl thats all i heard about the faggies fans saying that is the dumbest shite they ever heard of. You will never hear TAM chanting that crap. So now faggies what say you do if you do join the sec.... .SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC

Ha if they somehow beat Texas the first year they are in separate conferences no doubt the SEC chants start. Might actually be the one time I want to see them win a game.

I'm not going, to lie, at the time, I thought it was stupid, and we ags pride ourselves on our yells and traditions.

But i must admit it would be awesome to have a two score lead on some of our Big 12 bretheren at the end of the season and bust out the SEC chant.

I'm pretty sure that 100% of the people participating in this thread had an opinion of something in their life at one time that they felt adamant about that changed over time to the exact opposite.

Orangebloods, the website that broke a lot of this stuff, has said that if they break away from the Big 12 six, those schools will no longer play A&M in any sport. The Texas and A&M rivalry is over.

LSU fan, but also a fan of other teams outside the south (GASP)... While I want LSU to win it all every year and dont mind some other SEC schools winning, this chant IS annoying as hell to me... It's dumb... I wish people would cut that shite out, makes you just sound dumb.

Okay that makes Texas come off as being a spoiled brat who is taking her ball and going home when she doesn't get her way, how pathetic.

How pathetic indeed.
I guess the 'sips are freaking out that we might not follow them... they will have to beat up on Texas Tech, which will be entertaining.

Texas said the same thing to Arkansas. That is just a threat to get them to follow in line with what they want.

I have heard many Big 12 fans at the Independence Bowl say that.

Could just be a threat to worry A&M. I think a lot of UT fans wouldn't like ditching the series. Especially the people that have lived with it longer.

this is one of the reasons Texas looks stupid right now - why eliminate one of the few games you play every year which is guaranteed to be marketable?

they make business decisions personal - you guys are acting like a crazy ex keying the car

The Texas politicians would never let the series end, despite what Texas U. wants.

1.) If they followed through on that, then they're even bigger pussies than I thought they were.

2.) They have no control over post-season play, so God help them if they took that stance and came up against A&M in a Bowl game or in regional play for baseball.

I'd have to say the yearly rivalry game would be over. Why would you want to play 9 SEC games (7 in division 2 out) and then have to play texas as an OOC game every year? That's a super tough schedule.

why do you think we're going to a 9 game conference schedule?

that's a money losing proposal (when 8 is a perfectly good option)
