Jim Delany's evil plan

This is all about Notre Dame.
It seems to me that Delany may have decided to take only one school - Nebraska, in order to de-stabilize the rest of the college football world. Delany knew that taking Nebraska would be the death knell of the Big 12.
Once CU, UT, TAMU, OK, OK St, and TT go to the Pac-10, the SEC will likely raid the ACC (my guess being UM, FL St., Clemson, and GT - but I think VT is as likely as GT).
Prior to the ACC raiding the Big East and destroying the Big East - then Notre Dame will see the writing on the wall and join the Big 10 (with three other teams, my guess being Mizzou, Rutgers, and Pitt).
Delany's end-game is genius - he is trying to destroy the Big East and force Notre Dame's hand by taking Nebraska.

He likely came up with this plan within the past couple of weeks (once he learned of the Pac-10's plans) - I have no doubt that he has been scheming for awhile.

Notre Dame will move to the Big Ten if its other athletic teams are threatened. Since they play in the Big East, destabilize the Big East and you get Notre Dame. The key player in the Big East is Syracuse for Basketball. If the Big 10 invites Syracuse then they get Notre Dame.
