I'm ok with any La school beating Rice.

Osborne has been amazing this year, I just wish they had something else behind him to take out Texas.

I never understood all the hate towards ULL or other La schools. Tigers are first but I support them all (even sort of Tulane slightly half assed). I wouldn't mind seeing a couple of
La schools in Omaha. It bothers me when LSU hosts and the bracket is Tulane, ULL, and Southern. Enough southern teams host to move it around a little bit.

Im rooting for ULL to make it to Omaha personally.
Even if you hate ULL though, I dont understand how you wouldnt be rooting for them to win the texas regional.

how far has RICE's program fallen to lose to ULL in a regional? pretty far, IMO.

But when i told Owlfan86 that Rice's 'peaking' was only due to play CUSA competition as opposed to real competition, he assured me that Rice was just playing much better baseball. It's amazing what happens when you don't get to play CUSA opponents.

You do realize that the Cajuns have the #6 ERA in the country, right?

ULL fans for the most part are sad sacks of shite who wish nothing but bad things for LSU, so frick em

I encourage any LSU fan who is a latent state school fan (e.g., ULL, LA Tech, even McNeese to some extent, and others) to go to that school's message board and try to make nice with the locals. Most are dominated by a sad lot filled with resentment of LSU.
An important difference between those boards and Tigerdroppings is that, while TDs sports boards tend to be dominated by younger, less mature posters, the state school boards are largely dominated by middle-aged fans. That is, those arm-crossed, grim-faced old guys you see at games in cajun red ( or Latech blue, or whatever polo shirts and matching duckbill caps; angry that LSU is the flagship university and not their school.
Check out those boards sometime and wish them well.
