Anyone have a link, or can you suggest where to find it???

Why? I heard it and he called it right.

Not saying he didn't. We watched the game on cox and would just like to hear it

I heard he called out Trey Watkins and TW turned Hawthorne out for the little bitch that he is.

so watkins' AB's leading up to didn't justify that comment?

I had to listen to the game on the radio. I swear I thought I heard Hawthorne say the ball was out of the park. I raised my arms, looked at my wife and said "Grand Slam." I too would like to hear the call again to see what he actually said.

To the op's question: Does anybody have a link to the call? I'd love to hear it.

Uncommon Cents fancies himself the Jim Hawthorne admin. Nothing about JH is said without his permission. Not even asking for a link to the call. He said JH got it right, he got it right.
Just go along, or he might RA your arse.

Complete fricking FAIL. Watkins batted 1000 tonight. One at bat, one single, two RBI. Maybe you've listened to Hawthorne too long.
Everytime someone posts about how bad Hee Haw Hawthorne is, the apologists come out of the woodwork and bitch about people bitching about Hawthorne's incessant bitching. It's a cycle of bitching and the easiest way to stop it is to remove the original bitch. I don't want a homer, but I don't want a hater.

I watched the game live, but I had a few texts that said basically the same thing, & I quote...
then me and my buddy decided to jump on a table @ Sammys, that bitch snaps like a twig and we both bust our arse on the ground, it was so worth it tho

I still don't know if the ball went over the guy's head or if it fell in the gap. Was he charging it or running away from the batter? Was it close to being a homerun?
The call was a little confusing.

The 3 Amigos (Hokey/Deke/Bobby) are on WWL 87 right now talking about the game. They keep playing the abbreviated and full version of the call........

If you only could have listened to John Ferguson who preceeded Hawthorne.

The ball went over the RF's head and against the wall. At first I thought he caught it, then the camera switched to home plate showing the LSU player telling the guy coming home to get down. I knew at that point we had at least tied it. It was BEAUTIFUL !

Looked like Garrido was playing in to limit runs. The ball jumped off of the bat kinda like Warren Morris's hit. It looked like a long ball. The RF was chasing it and got his glove on it about at the warning track, but he couldn't squeeze it and the ball hit the fence....game over. At least that's what I remember from CST.

I grew up with Ferguson... they'll never be anyone better.
