Bama wants something done, this year, and are crying at the SEC meetings.

I want something done about BAMA and UT (and to a lesser extent UGA and AU) fricking up the SEC's roational schedule so that those idiots can get their anual hatefest on rather than doing what Nebraska and OU did for the sake of the Big 12 and grow the frick up and play each other when their rotation comes up.

Our permanent opponent in the SECeast has gone 23-1 the last two years while theirs has gone 12-12. That's not exactly the "even playing field" like they claim to be looking for.

Beat them then. That'll end your argument.

If Bama beat them all, it would end thier argument too.

Exactly. LSU could follow Bama's lead since beating teams regardless of whether they were coming off a bye week has kept the tide from whining and complaining... oh, wait.

You won't hear me complain one bit. However, bringing up permanent opponents as a counter argument is ridiculous. Historically Tennessee is a much better program than Florida. By the way, didn't LSU have to go through UT in both 2003 and 2007 in the SEC Championship game to advance to the BCS Championship game? That kinda hurts your argument right there.

And every team in the East has to play Florida every year, so what's your point.

His point is that every team in the west doesn't have to play Florida every year. Florida is by far the most dominant team in the east.

nope, 2003 was Georgia.... we only played UT in 07 because we beat Florida....so, it has sucked for florida to have to play us the last few years as well....Historically? is that the best you got....Yes, UT was generally better than Florida except for the last 20 years

Really though, I wouldn't trade our annual Florida game for ANYTHING.

What's the point of winning if you're playing a USC or Notre Dame schedule?

This isn't about you. Notice the subject line for this thread, which says it all.

Not in the last 25 years, and definitely not since the SEC went to divisional play, when the permanent opponent from the other division came into play.

No. Incorrect. Wrong-o. Kinda hurts your credibility right there.
