Just saw some seagulls in the Houma Nav with oil on them. There were four or five of them and there was a sheen on the water.

I believe the sheen came from the oil off the seagulls. We reported it. The guy I was with said he saw the sea gulls trying to clean themselves where the sheen was a while earlier.

They also had some in bayou Little Caillou but it looks like it was either from someone pumping their bilge or a boat that tracked it back inshore on its hull.

No, just traveling to the west yard when we saw the sheen by the barge. The captain told me he saw the sea gulls with the oil on it. We stayed there for a while and I saw some gulls with the oil on em.

These people need to quit listening to the media and listen to a few people on here. It's just a little bit of oil. It's not that bad. Someone said the fish and shrimp will just swim away from it.

First off people will believe almost anything they hear/see nowadays with the E World!

People west of the spill are pissed because around April 25 all the talk was East East East. It is kind of like a Hurricane, you feel bad for who gets hit, but it is better than it hitting you! Then it started coming West and we were told tarballs and basic cleanup, and Now it is oil in our outlying Island with reports of oil in our further inland Estuaries. Not to be an arse but, everyday there is a more grim or worse pattern developing and i wonder what the END GAME of this will be!!!
