With Nicolas Cage and Eva Mendes, has anyone ever seen this? I'm bored at work and was looking up movies, I've never even heard of this. Just wondering if it was worth watching.

It's really a fun movie. I'm a Nic Cage fan though so take that for what it's worth, I find him hilarious at all times.
But I do think it has good reviews on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes, etc which back up my opinion.

It is the height of over-the-top awesomeness. I'm not sure if it's a self-aware or not, but it is gloriously manic. There are teeth marks on the scenery.

Awesome movie. If you like its nuttiness I would highly recommend checking out Herzog's other movies. The guy is out of his mind.

don't go into expecting much. A fun campy film...It is about a morally decrepit cop's even more morally decrepit scheme to payback gambling debts, drug money and a reverse shakedown. Speaking of shakedown, one of the more memorable scenes. Fun and when you think every last character has hit rock bottom, they find another edge to fall lower.

Have you seen Even Dwarfs Started Small or Fitzcarraldo? It is amazing how far Herzog is willing to go to bring his vision to life.

My favorite part of Aguirre is when Kinski throws the monkey. For some reason I find it hilarious.
