No, he didn't. But the school's AD did.

He probably does. The LHSAA allows it's members to play MAIS schools form outside of La. but prohibits competition with schools in La., like River Oaks.

I remember a couple of years ago RO had a reciever with the last name Ginn. They said he was D1 talent but he was terrible. BTW 7on7 doesn't mean shite.

I honestly don't know anyone that said that. He was a good receiver, but he wasn't all state or anything.

So it is against the rules, right? NOONE from RO has contacted SF about a game.

God, you must go to SF. It wasn't against the lhsaa rules at the time, 4 years ago. Sometime between 2 or 3 years ago, they made a rule that doesn't let them schedule a Louisiana MPSA team.

4 years ago, first about a game, SF said no. Then about a summer scrimmage in early August, no again.

Wrong. NEVER contacted. BTW, I do think Vincent Moore is a heckuva athlete.

I'd also like you to prove any rule change. There was no change. It's always been an LHSAA rule.

lhsaa can not play anyone from MAIS period end of discussion. 2 yrs ago St. Fred's thought about dropping to MAIS(mpsa) because of dropping enrollment and for competition but it never went far.

I dont remember RO ever having a kid go to a D-1 school to play sports. Bobby Craighead played for ULM (NLU) but it was a D-1AA back then

I know we are way off topic... ...but the LHSAA has allowed play with a few Ms. based MPSA schools in baseball. There were a number of games with schools out of Natchez in the 2009 season.

I'm sorry but I'm afraid you got a bit of mis-information. SF never contemplated a move out of the LHSAA. Must have been a rumor.

They say there legends such as scogins (sp) and herman could have played D1 if they were 1inch taller.

Names? FWIW, Sam just finished a nice career at Millsaps as a linebacker/safety. An inch or two would have helped him. Scogin is 6'1", 225 lbs. Take your issues up with him next time you see him.

Easy to generalize...no names...no credibility. Bashing kids and a school isn't very flattering...

The kid is not gonna get a serious look untill he starts playing better competition. Everyone on here though DJ was going to be a 5* recruit after his first two years at St. Freds. If the Moore kid moved to Neville or Ouachita then he would get more attention and you would be able to get a better evaluation of his talent.
