You succeeded in accomplishing what the LSU coaches and players couldn't. Your motivational tactic srirred the pride and energy of a sleeping Tiger.
The surest way to motivate an opponent is to cheat him or to disrespect him. In one cowardly act you accomplished both.
You showed us our destiny were we to continue in our slumber. We were destined to be relegated to the role of loser as is you and your team. Losers will only try to bring others down to their level. You hoped to have LSU sit idly by while the better teams played in the SEC Tournament. Alas, thanks to you it was not to be.
We will continue on our journey which may bring us greater fortunes while you and the rest of your MSU loser comrades will continue your residence at the bottom.
Thank You Mr. Mingione for reminding us of what we are not. May you legacy continue through the ages.

Ball was hit into the RF corner w/ runners on base. Hanover came out to take the cutoff throw and make the relay. Mingione (State 1B coach) followed him out to short RF, yelling "2,2,2!", confusing Hanover and causing him to double clutch on the relay, allowing the runner to score. Totally bush move on Mingione's part. Should have been ejected from the game.

How do you know that it was not the speech that coach gave after Tulane whipped our arse? That might have had something to do with the team being fired up.
And don't get me wrong, I like that LSU has won two games, but we might should settle down with this "woke the sleeping tiger" hogwash stuff. It is probably the worst team in the SEC that we are beating right now.

MSU hasn't won a SEC West game all year........they have been swept every SEC West weekend..i'm not sure that has ever happened....just playing MSU was the shot in the arm we needed..

So, it takes the first base coach of the team that has won 1 sec road game all yr to motivate LSU. I would of thought the 3-4 woodshed beatings given to the Tigers over the last 15 games would of been enough to motivate them.
