After all these years, still soaking in all in

the offseason...
dayum... I can still get choked up just thinking about it...
THE SAINTS WON THE frickING SUPER BOWL
I'm in no rush to move on. I've waited longer than any Saints player for this. It's not just about a series of games or winning the ultimate game. It is the achievement of reaching the peak. When Payton holds that Lombardi up and shakes it in triumph part of my soul is in it. Hold on to it, take it all in.
On my death bed I'm not going to worry about if my obituary lists all my accomplishments correctly. I'm going to think about what I've experienced and lived through. This season was monumental enough to me personally that it will register on that day. The same tears that came into my eyes when my children entered this world into my hands flowed on that February 7 evening. Too much? I have been reminding a lot of people that the word fan originated from fanatic.
I am ready for a season of a glorious repeat. I have even greater hope that the franchise might now be dominant for years. Whether that happens or not though THIS will always be special. Bask in it my Who Dat brethren.

As stated before, this truely is the best offseason ever. No stress on the draft or FA activity. The 32 pick was niiiiiice.

Me and three other guys have had season tix for a while. When the Saints won the NFC Championship game, one of the guys, DRUNK AS HELL, kept saying, "We're goin' to the frickIN' SUPA BOL!"
When we got to Miami, same guy says, "We're at the frickIN' SUPER BOWL!"
When the Saints won the game, same guy, crying out loud says, "WE WON THE frickIN' SUPA BOWL!"
Three times a week, every week, same guy still sends me texts saying that phrase.
I will probably forget how much I spent on that trip, but will never forget the experience we were part of that night.

The phrase "wait 'til next year" is now obsolete for Saints fans. "Next year" actually happened!
Now the operative phrase should be "I CAN'T wait 'til next year!" I know I can't.
We got everybody coming back but Grant, Bell, Leisle, Simoneau, and Fujita. We had a very good draft, plus we have the 2 WF guys and A. Arrington coming back - it's almost like 3 extra draft choices with a year in the system.
Add to that the free-agent pickups and off-season signings, plus whatever Loomis and Payton have in store for the rest of the offseason (trades, additional signings, etc.), and
Gregg Williams returning. Holy shee-ite !!!!

hey Mouth, I own a chain of tobacco and beer stores on the Ms. Gulfcoast. In my Gautier store I have a over 100 import and micro brews in stock. The Rouge Dead guy ale and American amber ale are good sellers. If you're ever on the coast stop by and I'll give you a celebratory Superbowl 6 pack. BTW I absolutely think the gifts you gave yourself is the shite.

I love Rogue. My 3 favs are as follows.
Dead Guy
Mocha Porter
Amber Ale
I'm also a big fan of all the New Belgium's but its not sold in Louisiana. Can you get it in Ms?
I'm on the coast every now and again and I will definitely stop by for sure, especially if you can get Fat Tire. I appreciate the offer
ETA: whats the name of your stores?

Great, my stores are named Smokey's Tobacco and beer. We are in Jackson County. You need to come by the Gautier location. Just take I10 to exit 61 (that Guatier/Vancleave rd) or hwy 90 east to Gautier/Vanclesve rd. in Gautier. We are across the street from the Community college. The store # is 228 522-0860. Ask for Jim.

Jim, I'm noting it too
I lived in the NW for many years so I love exploring microbrews. Do you ever stock any Deschutes?

Blues you my friend can have anything in the house.
I don't have Deschutes. Unfortunnately we are regulated by ABC (alcohol beverage control) I have to order from 2 warehouses only. I can get alot of things, but only if they carry it. I'm not allowed to order from any other supplier. We have a new one called TommyKnocker that is in a pale, larger, maple and amber. It's a damn good beer. If you're in town here's my cell 228 218-3995. Don't worry it's a business cell. BTW any WhoDat is welcome to stop by.
