If they were to help us maybe we could start being friends with them. This oil spill could be a blessing in disguise!

the sad part is that even if they really can help out with this thing there's no way we'd take them up on the offer

I would trade them Isreal, if they could keep the oil from us.

They won't be sending any homosexuals to help out, because they don't have any.

I could be on board with this.

Why would we want to be friends with Iran? They should want to be friends with us, not the other way around.
I guess maybe if we get obama to apologize for America again, and maybe bow to Ahmadinejad then, they'll "help".

Only if they shoved Ahmadinejad in the hole.

Seriously, what help could Iran be realistically expected to give? The article linked doesn't mention any specifics. I see this as just a PR ploy by Iran.

We don't need a damn thing from the iranians! The only thing they could offer of any damn value is Ahmadinejad's head on a stick!!!! The farther they stay away from us the better!!!!

It's ISRAEL you dimwit!! How bout if we give them you?!?!?!?

Empty PR is all it is. IRDC doesn't have any technology that hasn't been used or is being used to "curb" the leak by BP and others involved. Funny how the timing of this coincides with Ahmadinejad's PR visit to the UN. Iran doesn't want to be on the other end of the US Military's blade.

I'd go with this. It's a hell of a bargin.
They get Israel, we get our leak fixed, we don't have to give billions to a country which is basically using that money to get more money from us and there's peace in the middle east...

Oh ya.....give up our only good friends in the gulf, who happen to have nukes, to clean up a little oil. BRILLIANT!

"friend" and "Israel" in the same sentance. That's funny.
But seriously, why do we prop up Israel?
Anybody?

While they were over here "helping out" they could plant a couple of tactical nukes as insurance to use in the future.

:sigh:
if Iran wanted to "plant some nukes in a really unstrategic location" they could/would have by now.
