So you're saying stop all domestic drilling and rely on foreign sources of oil and gas where environmental and safety regulations are much less stringent or non existent?

LA should succeed from the union and take over federal waters of our coast or better yet just maintain the ones within 5 miles for oil and natural gas. We can refine our own product here in La. and if we so choose sell to the rest of the states for just a few pennies less than the arab countries. We can build our own dubai. Imagine the jobs that would create for the local and solve coastal restoration at the same time.

In case you are unaware, Oil doesn't just come out the ground ready to be sold. hints refineries and all the other infrastructure where Money is made... a.k.a. your an idiot
