Whats your most memorable moment in Tiger Stadium that didn't involve a play?

#1 Alabama @ LSU..going into the 4th quarter hearing the announcer say that its officially a night game in Death Valley..and hearing the opening bells to hells bells..will never forget

PS- Stanford/USC score in 07 doesn't count

damnit

Oops...didnt read the "that didn't involve a play" part.

I'd have to say the Auburn game where the kicker almost got his arse kicked by one of our trombone players. The whole section right there in the corner was going ape shite. It was awesome.

Storming the field after beating Florida in 97. I ran right into the arms of the homecoming queen who was also a cheerleader. We didn't know each other.

Florida 97 had a couple for me.

-Herb Tyler on the long option keeper for 6 (Remember when we didn't look retarded running the option?)

-Tommy Banks diving in for the TD.

Georgia 03 already mentioned.

-The 93 yard Browning screen pass having zero effect.

-Mauck to Skyler.

You may want to bold the 'didn't involve a play' part.

I wore some shorts with inner netting similar to swim trunks to the LSU/ULM game that was delayed by lightning. It was raining incredibly hard before the game, and I had to pee. So I just...did. Nobody noticed, and it washed away.

October 6, 2001 vs. UF. First game in Tiger Stadium after 9/11. At halftime, the band took a knee and played Amazing Grace. Unforgettable, except for all of you who were probably drunk.

Ohio State in '87. pregame excitement was insane as it was the CBS national game of the week between 2 top ten teams. most media hyped game i can remember as a kid. before kickoff, both teams refused to come out of their tunnel. it was like two boxers staring each other down. the crowd went nuts.

ALL Tiger Band stuff. First Pre-Game marched down on the field. First Pre-Game doing the "Bass Drum Beat." Bass Drum solos in 81 (Sing Sing Sing) and 82 (Big Noise from Winnetka) are at the top of the list.......

Running down the stairs and then to mid-field after the 2000 Tennessee game and watching the students run off with a goal post.

Hodson to Fuller against Auburn about 100 feet away from me.

The Tigers kept flirting with scoring and played incredible defense that whole game. The anticipation of finally scoring against them to go up by 1 with a minute and some change left...I have goosebumps right now just thinking about it.

The explosion of the crowd realizing that the ball was in fact in Fuller's hands and he fell backwards - will never be matched.

In 1991 I saw someone in the student section throw up and it traveled horizontally at least 6 feet and splattered all over the back of a girl.

LSU - Florida 1997.

Missed the first TD b/c I was dropping a Guiness/Popeye's induced deuce in one of the world-famous TS bathrooms.

Recovered and screamed my head off the rest of the night.

Ran around the parking lot in my boxers b/c I lost a bet on the game...and was happy to do it!

Tom Benson.........run for your life!

On October 30, 2005, Benson charged a cameraman with a raised hand while leaving Tiger Stadium following a Saints loss to the Miami Dolphins and lunged at the television news crew grabbing a camera and wrenching it down before being eased away by Saints security. A video also appeared to show Benson angrily responding to a heckling fan. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said the league would likely take no action against Benson.

On November 1, 2005, an e-mail sent to Commissioner Paul Tagliabue from Benson was leaked to the press. Benson stated in the e-mail that he feared for his life and his family's safety upon his exit from Tiger Stadium, and would not be returning to any future games in Baton Rouge. Benson declared in the email that security in the stadium was "inadequate" and inaccurately claimed that his family "could all have been severely injured or killed." However, LSU officials were quick to point out that they had no negative comments from the Saints or the NFL concerning Tiger Stadium security. In addition, the videotape of Benson from October 30 showed him being escorted by at least one security guard, belying his e-mail claim that security was "non-existent." A day later, Saints spokesman Greg Bensel stated that Benson's e-mail was sent in frustration, and that Benson was undecided on whether he would attend any future games in Baton Rouge. Benson did not attend the following week's game at Tiger Stadium on November 6th against the Chicago Bears.

1997 UF-LSU pre-game student section stole a Gator flag. Students kept handing it up until it got to the top of the stadium. The cops and a UF frat tried to get it back. Just before the cops got to it, poof it was thrown over the top of the north endzone onto the ground outside the stadium. Even the popo's thought it was funny that the UF douche couldn't get his flag back.
