This telecast is the prime example of why not!
Ronnie Rantz can at least call a game and give you pretty good insight of both opponents.

besides that stupid broad they had in the booth for 4 innings i dont think it was too bad
oh well missing the 1st half inning bc of lacrosse sucked
and the camera work was shite
i really dont give a frick what the announcers say. more games on TV

ESPNU has been doing this since basketball season. i dont know how often but every so often they have kids from the schools help with the broadcast...was it great? no not at all. but it means alot for the kids to do and say what you want but i bet they can do a hell of alot better than most of you....
do ya'll remember when Auburn had it during basketball season? i think it was the ole miss auburn game at AU. not that was pretty sad lol

Her taking her turn blowing Tebow in the middle of it all was annoying, to say the least.
And did we really need to see the frat-tastic assholes in the sombraros in left field or that absolute LOSER in the umpire outfit behind home plate acting like an actual umpire? And yall think the K-Lady is lame.....

I like Kyle Peterson and Orel Hershiser when they are in the booth. I know they repeat a lot of the same facts over and over about LSU, but at least they have played ball at a high level and can give good insight into why some decisions are made or keys to a game. The announcer from the Friday broadcast said that the players were unaware of the bat change over the fall and they just swing whatever is given to them. He said that the coaches were the only ones informed that the composite bats were no longer allowed.
