Covington's Randy LeBlanc, a RHP, verbally committed to Rick Jones and Tulane last night after their game with ULL. FWIW, LeBlanc had longstanding offers from both LSU and TU. I've been to a couple of CHS games this season and LeBlanc is legit. I was really surprised that he isn't going to be a Tiger. Jack Cressand has really done a nice job recruiting for them. Unlikely he steps foot on campus though. Scouts had him in the mid 90's last week during a game.

The rest of the team must not be too good. Its pretty rare when you have a pitcher throwing in the 90's and your teams record is still 17-16. Also, Cressend has done well recruiting for Tulane, but his job as the pitching coach hasnt been going well IMO.

The dude is legit, besides the fact that the Covington coaching staff overused him on numerous occasions. It'll be interesting to see where he gets drafted
