And I usually check Metacritic over Rotten Tomatoes. Cleaner, quicker, and they actually average out the scores on a 100 scale rather than just doing Fresh/Rotten. I feel it's more accurate, especially for polarizing films.

agree with that completely. metacritic is a really useful site.

I check Metacritic every weekend, but even though I have read their explanation for how they score each movie, it seems like their rating is still subjective, unless the reviewer rates it out of 10. Certainly all reviewers don't use that system.
Still, I like it more than Metacritic for the same reasons you listed. Looks better visually than RT and doesn't just use the liked/disliked formula.
