List problems with LSU football

Offense:
1. Offensive Line under performs and is also under sized.
2. QB: Very little improvement in the past two years.
3. Offensive scheme is confusing and lacks identity. Some option packages and some I formations? Where is the identity.
4. Poor clock management and game day coaching. Hot hands are benched and substitutions and play calling is poor. Causes confusions which leads to penalties.
Defense:
1. Soft zone, no pressure on QB.
2. "Bend but not break" gives up too many third and long plays ( same problem with Chavis' scheme in TN ) which causes opponents to progress into the red zone or in field goal ranges. It also causes the defense to stay on the field too long breaking the offensive rhythm.
-- Please note MOST of our opponents had higher time of possessions and MORE yardage. This was true even in games that we won.
Most of these are coaching problems, not player issues.
Problem with Miles' philosophy:
(1) Committed to playing soft zone on defense.
(2) Wrestling to play power-I on offense.
-- Crowton is a spread guy and Miles is a power-I guy. Two philosophies together cause confusion.
(3) Assistants recruited are poor: McCarthy, Mallory, Peveto, Crowton, Studrawa. I do not see us beating Florida/Alabama and Meyer/Saban with Chavis on defense.
In the next three years we will have one losing season and then Miles will be done. The sooner the better.

Off
one word execution.
Defense
Dline hasnt been what we were accustomed to.
IMO coaches take too much of the blame on this board.
Players are the ones that must execute.

Is the word "losing" that hard to spell?

I am just stating facts.

All the miserable people in our state bitching about LSU so they can feel better about something. Amazing how people want things to go bad so they have company.
We're going to look good next year

we will be as good as our qb. failure at that position will lead to another 4 or 5 loss season, or worse

while do Miles haters always seem to think their opinions are "facts"?

Like his defense, they line up and knock the sh-t out of the guy on the other side of the line.
Unlike a Miles team, no puss play after several years controlling the team

We will be as good as the head coach coaches next year.
