I am not saying Miles sucks at all. I don't think he's good at all, but he doesn't suck.

NFL teams are just not willing to draft aloof players. They lack intensity, and its obvious. This is Miles 4th draft as coach of the Tigers and I have yet to see one player HE recruited drafted ahead of the mid 3rd round? Chad Jones is the highest drafted player he's had at mid 3rd round.

Teams aren't looking just at talent, but after several issues with LSU players, its obvious people are backing off. Outside of Addai and Bowe, most LSU players since 2005 have been busts. I take that back, Kyle Williams has been good for his one year under Miles.

It's not a lack of talent/potential. Teams aren't drafting potential high at all these days, unless they are the Broncos.

TT's problems weren't being the man. He ran routes very lazily and didn't show full effort out there all the time.

He has lots of issues as a pro prospect, but he definitely has the talent. The point of my post was as of now, the ONLY player that's play has shown he deserves to be a top 2 round pick is Peterson. To get into those 2 rounds, the rest have to do some serious upgrading there.

There aren't many teams with underclassmen that you can say are definite first round picks. Settle down and focus on the positive. Since you can't change it anyway, what's the point of getting your panties in a wad? We got a long way until football so just chill. You'll live longer

Cussian, that was why I was talking about those guys that have 2 years or more of experience. That was the whole point.

You are correct in that we don't know what we'll get out of the 2009 and 2010 recruits yet. I hope for great things from these guys.

Not sure that PP is a 1st rounder. Otherwise, no one.

PP is almost guaranteed (outside of some major injury) to be at least a 2nd round pick, but you are right, 1st round isn't a lock.

You are mistaken.

Peterson is a guaranteed first round pick.

Here's a link to an early 2011 mock draft. They have Peterson and Barksdale both going in the top 8 picks. I think TT has a shot to shoot up the charts with a strong senior campaign. He has all the measurables that the NFL guys covet. 2011 draft

I think Mo Claiborne is a future 1st rounder. He might be a bigger athletic freak at CB than Peterson is.

TT does have size and some talent, but for him to go even in the 3rd round, someone is going to have to draw him a map to the endzone. He caught 2 TDs against Washington and only 1 in the final 11 games.

I don't buy Barksdale as a top pick. Look what happened to Ciron, who has always been viewed as a significantly better prospect.

In any case, we likely only have 3 guys drafted next year. PP, TT and JB. Nevis has a shot but he would have to be significantly better this year.

Sheppard and ....

possibly Nevis if he achieves what he is capable of.

If our ends can come off the line with the speed they demonstrated in the spring game this year it could create many opportunities for the devensive tackles once the pocket breaks down....

Lets hope!

Where is LSUBalls to set all of you straight. Dick Murphy will be a first rounder next year.

PP is gonna be the first corner picked in the draft.
Shep will be one of the best MLB's in the draft. He'll definitely go in the first.

Except Mays is a Safety.....who doesn't defend the run great and just likes to try and "big hit" you.

PP is a lock-down corner....which is coveted in the NFL.

Not a good comparison
