How do you know Josh McDaniels isn't planning on building his offense around Tebow and creating some kind of shotgun-based offense?

He's young and crazy enough to do it.

It's highly unlikely, but until you see what McDaniels has planned for Tebow, can we not call him a bust just because he's not a "pocket passer" or a "pro-style QB". Maybe he won't have to be.

I won't call Tebow a bust unless we get out 5 years and he was never effective

Create a NFL shotgun offense for him? Fine, dunno why you would do that when the same option would be available with other college players... but have at it

And maybe he'll be great... but even those who (justifiably) love and appreciate Tebow for what he did at Florida should be rational enough to understand he was a project pick for a first rounder and the Denver organization looks like they are taking a big roll of the dice on the most important position on the team

If some team with a veteran QB had drafted him I would have tipped my cap at teh team and hoped he will develop over 2-3 years.
