Scout has Kenny Hilliard the #14 RB in 2011 after this kid was the National Sophomore Of The Year with 2,377 yards and 34 TD's. As a junior rushed for 2,512 yards and 32 TD's, performed better than all RB before him(1-13)as a sophomore and junior. Do scout has something against Louisiana talent?

pfft Hilliard is one of the top 5 RB's in the country. Should def be a 5 star on rivals.

I think the only knock on Hilliard is the lack of top end speed which could keep him as a 4 star prospect. He has GREAT natural RB instincts...

He was worse than #14 before their most recent update. Wasn't he like #22 or something?

At any rate, it's scout's rankings. Take it with a grain of salt.

Scout is a joke..... they also left Jarvis Landry out of the top 10 in the WR category.

The ONLY reason to have a scout account is for the info that Sonny and Co. provide for us. Otherwise scout is useless.

Yep, Scout is garbage. Once they know a kid is high on or committed to LSU, they keep their stars /rating down.

If he switched his commit to Bama, he would be #1 overall recruit

They also have Landry at like 85 overall and Freak at 30 overall.

Just wait on the Rivals rankings, and even then wait on the second version of the Rivals rankings.....They're always much more accurate IMO (and I mean even when it doesn't benefit LSU).

I didn't say or think that, but they're ratings are garbage..... there's no denying that.

Where he is ranked means nothing he is a tiger he is a great player and looks like he will be a very productive RB in college and that is all that counts in the long run.

While true, take yourself/fans out of it.

It's a great accolade for the rest of his life to be recognized widely as one of the best backs in the country......People who don't know how to rank worth a shite shouldn't take that away from him

People don't realize how cool that would be for a high school kid to be ranked the number one player in the country out of thousands of kids, or even top 10 or 20.

He should be appropriately ranked, and he isn't...End of story.

I did think and say that. I never said you did.

If either of them would commit to FLA, they would become the top recruits in the country.
