Can you see the ESPN slant on the article.hamilton is a good blogger on there but that article reeks of ESPN crap.Every LA kid they talked to or reported on seems to be looking around.Makes Hill look like he's not at all solid.Definitely some liberties taken with the Landry part.Says he won't comment on his commitment to LSU but goes on to say that FSU,Miami and everybody is still recruiting him hard.Landry said his commitment put a target on him.The caption under the picture says something like An LSU commit for now.Don't make more out of something than is really there. That's what i hate most about ESPN.They can't be happy reporting the news, they want to make the news to.It's shameful.

ESPN likes to sensationalize everything they report. prime example is the headline of the CFB front page ".Georgia Tech's Dwyer tests positive at combine." the article is about him testing positive for amphetamines. apparently they are in a prescription drug he has been prescribed since he was an adolescent. farking attention vultures ESPN...

At least the photo of Landry was one in Tiger Stadium wearing a "black & purple LSU hat"!
Even ESPN couldn't "F" that up for us!
Geaux Jarvis!

I'm confused. Are you talking about another article than what was linked? Billy Tucker wrote what I read, not Hamilton. Also none of what you just posted was in that article. What I read said future Tigers all throughout.

The picture of Landry was taken on the LSU practice field where the combine was held.

Landry wasn't the only receiver with a strong showing in Baton Rouge. The group in general was very athletic (black), and several prospects demonstrated the tools and athleticism to also be recruited as defensive backs.

JJ27,i din't click the link to see which article that was linked since i had already read both. The Hamilton article is right beside the other article. It's the overheard article. The caption under Landry's picture says "for the time being an LSU commit."Even mentions that Landry was donning the LSU hat with sunglasses to match but i got the feeling that he ran with the statements Landry made. All Landry said was that teams were recruiting him harder now that he's commited.Said it's like he put a big dot on his back. That doesn't sound like a kid wavering.Definitely not something that would lead to that caption.(i understand that it's possible that Landry said some things off the record but if it's not for the public then you shouldn't imply anything at all.

Yes, I was mislead by the article (brain fart) and I clearly see that now in the picture...thanks for pointing that out.
