Keep in mind. some of the MLB games during the day in northern parts of country where it is still cold tend to not draw very well, people do have to work

What LSU brings in attendance wise for baseball is pretty remarkable especially for midweek games.

I get pretty irked when folks start talking about how LSU counts "paid" v/s "actual" attendance & that is why they lead the nation in attendance every year. Well, ok, maybe not every single person who bought a ticket showed up but do other programs even get 10,000+ people to buy tickets, much less getting over 1/2 of those people to show up? I mean, if you can sell 10,000+ tix to a game, that shows that you've got a fanbase willing to support the team. But I guess the only folks complaining are the folks who are....JEALOUS!

I personally think the concept of "paid attendance" is stupid. Tell me how many asses are actually in the seats, not how many tickets were sold. I take more pride in the fact that we drew 6500 ACTUAL people for a midweek game than I do in the fact we sold over 10,000 tickets to it.

Regardless, show me a program that sells 10,000+ tix to a game AND gets 6,500 people in the seats for a mid-week game. Either way, the paid attendance AND the actual attendance leads the nation, so why do people want to down LSU for posting both?

I don't think anyone is downing LSU. I down the NFL, NBA, MLB, and all college sports, by listing paid attendance. It is a dumb number. Who cares how many tickets you sold...

LSU and the NCAA care about PAID ($$) attendance. either way, who cares, every school posts the same, PAID !

Question....when you post "more than 3 games in Major League Baseball yesterday.." Is this more than their actual attendance or more than their paid attendance? B/c if these teams' paid attendance is only a tad above 10K then they need to definitly consider moving to another city. Even NOLA could sell more than 10K season tixs in MLB.
