I spoke with him after he made the decision yesterday. He told me that Zook offered him immediate playing time as a hybrid DE/LB. It's a great opportunity for him.

Well good for him. I hope that works out well for him though I'm always leery of anyone who offers a high school senior "immediate playing time" in a BCS conference.

Houston has realistic expectations. He would like to see the field early, but knows he will have to earn it. He's a very humble kid, and intelligent too. He made the right decision, imo

Good for him. Nice landing spot for him at a BCS school and both he and TD can now move on. We really need to stop offering players of that caliber so early IMO. I'll duck now.
