In Omaha - just saw new stadium

I just saw the new stadium they are building near downtown Omaha. It is going to be an awesome place and venue to celebrate our 2011 championship.
Rosenblatt is going to be knocked down and given to the zoo - I was told by locals.

Hope they still have GA seats. Those are the best. Part of the experience.

The guy in the bottom picture looked like an Ole Miss fan...I guess they won't have this thing ready for another 20 years or so when an Ole Miss team will finally make it to Omaha. Either that, or the picture is just set in the future

It won't be the same at the new park. Last year was a life long dream come true to make it to rosenblatt for the first time! To see my team win it all made it the perfect trip!
I just hope we can close rosenblatt like we closed The Box! How awesome would that be?

Last year was my first time at the CWS and it was awesome. We stayed at the garden inn across the street from the embassy (i think) were the team stays. Anyway, if i remember correctly its suppose to be built right around there -- Is that correct? If so the location will be much better from what i saw.

Was there over the weekend too. Looks cool, but some locals told me it is actually smaller than Rosenblatt or something.

Russian, with all due respect, IMO we "closed out the Box" with taking 2 of 3 from UCI. Just semantics I guess, but what we did in Omaha in 2008 was not part of "closing the Box".
