I stated that it looks like Dean spent alot of time learning to be a good 1st basemen and it cost him time with his batting. He just doesn't seem to have that edge he had when batting the previous years.....that focus!

Third base IS a mess however.

Yea dean has not only been sufficient he has actually made more plays than Ive seen at first for LSU in a while.

This.....I been waiting to happen.

I think Dozar is going to end up being the third baseman. Early in the season I thought Didier would win the spot, but Dozar has been batting well and his defense is getting better.

Can we all give them some more time? This team has been in flux this season and hopefully by
regionals they will have it together!

Dean is a good, not great DH player. He has not made alot of errors this year at 1st base but he does not field his position smoothly. He may be one of those kids who hits better when he does not have to concern himself with playing a field position. I am not bashing him just stating what I think I see.
