Going on a date night in the Baton Rouge/Prairieville area. Not fine dining, but good food in a nicer restaurant. Any suggestions?

That Italian place on Highland near Blue Bayou. I'm having a brain fart and can't think of the name right now.

if you feel like making a ride and spending some time talking onthe way go to Robertos's in St Gabrile
Mi Padres is decent tex mex
Kamals Kafe in Gonzales is great Lebonease but you might not want to smooch after eating there

I know how to roll.
In all seriousness, I would go to Digiulio Brothers. Not too over the top, good food, safe. I would go ethnic soon after.

No doubt, brah. I wouldn't take a first date to an Indian restuarant. No telling how one's bowels will react.

Digiulio Bros is a bit crowded on the weekends - but a definite winner. Bay Leaf, not so much. I am not impressed by that place.

Another good recommendation. BTW, your "Paul must go" thread got whacked. It was getting pretty funny IMO.
