i hate to sound like a downer here, i have respect for all LSU players, but Bradshaw should be limited exclusively to midweek games in his current form.

He's a batting practice pitcher at best...seriously...if you've played any baseball at all, you can tell he has nothing...absolutely nothing.

For the 2nd time this week I am disgusted that people can't wait to bash an young athlete for simply pitching poorly. Do you feel better for talking bad about a player that chose LSU over other schools, yet isn't going to be selected All-American?

I dont dislike the guy...but he's lucky his ERA isnt 12. I just don't want to see him pitching very often...it's nothing personal. Id rather some of the younger guys get more innings to tell you the truth.

Yeah but the guy doesn't need people bashing him on the internet. It happened earlier this week with Alsup. These guys probably have a family member or two that read these boards. We just trash their ability because they aren't playing as well as we would like them to.

It's not fun when anonymous people take shots at you on the internet.

the thread was intended, as many are on this board, to disagree with a coaching decision. this board wouldn't exist if people didn't enjoy second guessing decisions. it happens in all levels of sports. deal with it. i'm guessing you are the type of person who believes there should be no outs or losers in little league as well, and that every kid should get to bat and score every inning so nobody's feelings are hurt.

It's not his fault. Miles and Crowton just had to go around and change his mechanics before the start of the season.

Let's say Combat Barney's real name is John Smith. Well Combat, how many times have you looked on the internet to see people saying, "That John Smith sucks, he can't keep the oil at the right temperature to keep the fries texture just right. He should never be allowed to work at the McDonald's level. Benny's Burger Stop maybe, but he's not McDonald's quality."

Im not for some Stalinistic policy where certain people are immune to criticism. I dont care if they are 20 years old with family members that might read this forum. People need to learn to not be so sensitive...Ive been criticised alot in my life and ive survived. Stop being such a weenie. Bradshaw sucks...and that's that. Simple.

then don't step into the spotlight of sports. you've got to be an idiot if you think you are going to take the big stage and expect not to be criticized about performance, especially when thousands of people pay a decent amount of money to watch.

The correct response would be, thanks for helping win a national title last year bradshaw, but you don't need to be pitching in meaningful games the way you are throwing. That's it, no need to bash the kid. He was fine the last 2 years. He obviously doesn't have it right now.

I bet he could really careless what people on this board have to say about him. He helped LSU win a National Title and thats a lot more then anybody on this board could say. Truth is he is struggling right now, we know that, he knows it, and the coach knows it. Are you just going to give up on him just because of some bad outings? I mean we might as well just kick him off the team along with everyone else who doesnt pitch perfect games, or go perfect at the plate.

How soon you bashers forget the game he pitched in the SEC tourney afer LSU lost the firt game. Plus baseball is a warm weather sport and he will get better as the weather gets hot.

The kid is just struggling thru a low spot now. He will be fine. Maneri knows what he is doing. He is one coach I would never try to question.
