I'm kinda surprised not to see Diaz in there. I don't know if this has more to do with McLouth recovering from his hammy injury and being put in the 8 hole, or Bobby planning on using Melky as our leadoff hitter.

Melky will be there for most days until Nate starts playing better. He looked God awful the entire spring and is lucky to even be in the opening day lineup

this is the lineup I was expecting except for the fact that I was thinking Glaus was 4 and McCann was 5. But since McCann is a better hitter for average, its probably the best way to have it.

And you may not think so, but this lineup is pretty damn good at the bottom. 7 and 8 hole hitters can hit the ball!

I was thinking the same thing although I guess it's not gonna surprise me this year if BMac hits 4 hole against righties and Glaus hits 4 hole against lefties

thats understandable. but McLouth is a former all-star CF who can put up some HRs. He may hit for .260-.280, but then again, thats why he is hitting 8th. 20+ homers from our 8th hole hitter would be pretty juicy.

thats very true. Bobby Cox is all about switching up the lineup to go along with whether the opposing pitcher is a righty or lefty.

I find the "Braves" nickname to be very offensive to Native Americans...I suggest they change their nickname to the Atlanta Crackers.

the Braves won the WS the only year I went to a home game. I'm thinking of going again this summer.
