Firing bad assistants so he can win another National Championship. This is the year for Miles the Tiger. By the way, who has the best 5 year record as a coach at LSU?

He was an OC at one time. It isn't that hard to look up.

Also winning a NC in you third year is fully into the current coaches program. That would mean they were completely developed for a NC during their first year or too as freshman or red shirts. That is just fricking stupid.

It make more sense that most had to do with some bust prospects and one bad coaching hire. He really shouldn't have to prove anything. The fact is we improved overall from 2008 to 2009 so that should be proof enough we are going in the right direction.

Read my post again. Crowton hanging by a thread and Stud is toast. Crowton and Stud will be figure heads this year. Gonzales , Miles, Wilkerson and Wilson will call the offensive shots.

We may have improved our record but Miles's "specialty" of offense was ranked worst than idaho the only improvement was we werent getting passed all over due to the emergence of PP and chad jones. So yea the record improved but the offense completelty regressed and the pass defense improved enough to keep games closer. Miles' specialty is really recruiting and we dont need a recruiter LSU is one of the easiest schools to recruit at...what we need is a developer. I think we can all agree Les is not a developer of talent

ok, so lsu is going to pay stud & crowton to do nothing this year? miles can't even call a time out, much less call plays.

They paid them last year and they did nothing. This year Miles, Gonzales, Wilson & Wilkerson will call the offensive shots. Again, Stud is toast & Crowton hanging by a thread. Crowton better start looking for a Mormon mission to go on.

No. I think some of yall are just fricking dumb.

We have had a lot of good players developed under Miles. You also can't credit Saban for players really at all that were under Miles for at least 3 years. That is just fricking stupid.

Lafell
Doucet
Scott
Black
H. Johnson
Peterson
Jones
Q. Johnson
H. Coleman
C. Taylor
C. Jackson
J. Zenon
Dorsey
Jackson

are a just a list of a bunch of guys developed under Miles.

He fired his buddies and corrected it hiring Chavis.

He fricked up the clock management in the Ole Piss game; however, it was fixed immediately and they were better prepared for the Arky and PSU game.

Crowton didn't get a raise this year. The offense was great in 2007. It was not horrible outside of the QB position which was fricked up by te RP dismissel. Also any other team would be in a similar situation in 2008 as no one has the third string QB(Lee from 2007) that experienced. Crowton is on the hot seat, but it is obvious some things have made it hard. The RP situation and OL prospect bust screwed us up. I think it is only fair to give him this year; however, I wouldn't have bitched if he had been fired as he is just an OC.

Because we're LSU damnit! We've won 3 national titles in our history and we have a pretty loud and drunk/crazy crowd in Tiger Stadium! The teams will be shaking in their shoes when they hit the field against LSU!

That's debatable. Sure, the numbers looked better last year, but still giving up the big play that seems to win the game (Bama, Florida, PSU, Ole Miss). Lost in the mix of improvement in stats last year was those big plays that we're still giving up to the other side. That shite needs to stop, PERIOD. We'll see this year about Chavis.

If the referee calls that tackle on Ridley inbounds, then he fricked up the Arkansas game as well. What exactly about the end of the PSU game was good clock management? Calling a middle screen inside ten yards is good?

IF, if, and if....for a reality guy you sure don't deal in it much.

The scoring D was better last season and highly ranked and that's not debatable.

Ridley did get out of bounds cause the ref stopped the clock and that's not debatable either.

There were enough things that went wrong in the season without us making up ifs to belittle those things that went right.
